What to Bring/Not Included/Extras

Alcohol and food (arrangements can be made for catered meals upon request), towels/sunscreen/water toys. Please bring any food or drink you wish, excluding red wine (it stains).

Special Notes on Extra Fuel Charge

*All boats have listed a low fuel rate for “local fuel”. This is for trips around Shelter Island. Montauk is 25+ miles away and always requires an additional fuel surcharge. Inquire within for details/cost.

Times

We are flexible with departure times. Let us know what best works for you and we will do our best to accommodate. We will do our best to get you back as close as possible to your end time, but we will make sure it is at least the full amount of time you booked.

Charters generally operate during the below timeframes unless guests wish to book a 7-hour trip:

10:00am – 2:00pm
2:30pm – 6:30pm
2:30pm – 8:30pm
7:00pm – 10:00pm Sunset Cruise

Address

We will typically depart from the dock at the uTiki Restaurant, but we can make arrangements at other locations that best fit your needs.

Please Note: We generally depart and bring you back to the same location. If you wish to stay at a certain locale and get a pick up later, please ask. If you wish to stay longe at a destination, we can always drop you off anywhere and you can take an Uber or Taxi back to your car or home.

Policies

Deposits

Full payment is due at booking. We do offer a one-time, no-cost change of date for reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to the scheduled rental. If booking in January, February or March we allow 50% deposit these months. Kindly text any request at time of booking.

Weather & Cancellations

We have a no-rain and small craft advisory policy so we do not set sail if it is currently raining or rain is imminent in the forecast. We also obviously care about your safety, so we will not set sail in inclement weather and during any small craft advisory. We will generally make those decisions 2-hours before sailing time. If our captain decides not to set sail that day, due to rain or if a small craft advisory is in effect, you will have the option to receive a rain date for a period of 28 months. This allows you 3 summer seasons to reschedule. We will apply your payment and you will receive that credit to sail again within the next 28 months.

Once a client books a boat we notify all subsequent inquiries that “the boat is taken and unavailable”. For this reason, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations. We do offer a one-time, no-cost change of date for reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to the scheduled rental. Rescheduling due to inclement weather is the sole exception, since one cannot predict mother nature.
