A Yacht Event Venue in Palm Beach for Parties and Company Events

A banquet hall can't sail past Palm Beach estates at sunset. A yacht can. If you're planning a birthday, a bachelorette weekend or a company outing, a yacht event venue in Palm Beach gives your guests something they'll talk about for years.

Palm Beach Boat Charters by Yacht Hampton is a family business that has chartered boats for 14 years. We plan party cruises, birthdays and corporate charters out of Delray Harbor Club Marina on the Intracoastal. Every event comes with a Coast Guard-licensed captain and a dedicated concierge. Our fleet runs from 22 feet up to a 122-foot event yacht. So whether you're hosting 6 friends or a big group of 12 or more, we have a boat that fits.

What Makes a Yacht Different From a Regular Venue

A yacht is a venue and an activity at the same time. Your guests don't just sit and eat. They swim, snorkel, ride a Seabob or watch the sun go down over the water.

It's also private. There are no other parties in the next room and no shared dance floor. The whole boat belongs to your group for the length of your charter.

And the setting changes as you go. You might start on the calm Intracoastal, stop at a sandbar near the Boynton Inlet, then cruise past waterfront homes on the way back. Every event is one of our private yacht and boat charters in Palm Beach.

How We Plan Your Event

Planning an event on a boat is simpler than you might think. Here's how it works with us.

  • First call: Tell our concierge your date, group size, budget and the kind of event you want.
  • Boat match: We pick the boat that fits your headcount and style, from a 22-foot boat to our 122-foot event yacht.
  • Route and timing: We build the route around your event. That could be a sunset, a sandbar stop or a dock-and-dine dinner.
  • Catering: Our concierge arranges catering, with service on board.
  • Event day: Your guests board at Delray Harbor Club Marina. Your captain handles the boat, so you can enjoy the party.

Event Ideas by Group

Not sure how to plan the day? Here are a few ideas that work well.

For a bachelorette or bachelor party, plan a sandbar stop with Seabobs and tubing. Add catering so nobody goes hungry.

For a birthday, pick a sunset cruise. The timing makes for great photos, and the evening light feels like a celebration.

For a corporate charter, think about your goal. A client outing might call for a calm cruise past the estates and a catered lunch. A team reward might lean toward swimming and water toys.

For a mixed group, plan a little of everything. Start with a cruise, stop for a swim, then head back at sunset.

Why a Boat Works for Team Events

Team events on land often split people into small groups. On a boat, everyone is in one place. There's no room to book, no screen to set up and no agenda to fill. People talk, swim and eat together. For a client outing, the setting does a lot of the work for you. Your concierge can keep the plan simple, with a cruise, a catered meal and a swim stop.

A Checklist for Event Hosts

These details help your concierge plan a smooth day:

  • Your final headcount, including anyone who joins late.
  • Food allergies or diet needs for the catering order.
  • Who needs directions to the marina, and when they'll arrive.
  • Any must-have moments, like a toast at sunset.
  • A budget for crew gratuity, which isn't part of the charter price.

Getting Your Guests to the Boat

Every event boards at Delray Harbor Club Marina in Delray Beach, on the Intracoastal. Your concierge will send arrival details you can share with your guests. Ask guests to arrive a little early. That way, you can leave the dock on time and get the most out of your charter.

Plan Around South Florida Weather

This is the question most event pages skip. What happens if it storms on the big day?

South Florida's wet season runs from May 15 to October 15, according to the National Weather Service in Miami. During those months, showers and storms can pop up almost every day. The service calls mid-May through early July the stormiest stretch.

A few tips can help:

  • In the summer, a morning or early afternoon charter can help you dodge late-day storms.
  • Outside the wet season, from mid-October to mid-May, storms come less often. That suits events that can't move.
  • Have a backup date in mind, just in case.

If weather cancels your charter, you get a 28-month rain check. That gives you plenty of time to rebook your party without losing what you paid.

Why Event Planners Book With Us

One Concierge for the Whole Event

You won't juggle five vendors. Your concierge plans the boat, the route and the catering, and keeps you posted.

Licensed Captains on Every Charter

Every captain holds a U.S. Coast Guard license. Your guests are in good hands, and nobody in your group has to drive.

A Fleet for Any Group Size

We have more than 30 boats. Small groups can book a nimble boat. Larger parties can step up to a yacht, all the way to 122 feet.

Easy Payment for Companies

We accept credit cards, debit cards, ACH and wire transfers. That makes it simple for a company to pay. We don't take cash or mobile pay.

Bilingual Team

We speak English and Spanish. Hablamos español. That helps when your guest list spans both languages.

Where Your Event Can Go

Every event boards at Delray Harbor Club Marina in Delray Beach. Head north for the Boynton Inlet, Beer Can Island, Manalapan and the Palm Beach estates. Peanut Island and West Palm Beach are within reach on longer charters.

Head south toward Boca Raton and Lighthouse Point for a different view. Guests can come from anywhere in the area, from Wellington to Boca Raton. Your concierge will send directions to everyone on your list.

Event Pricing

Private charters range from $690 to $9,999, plus gratuity. Bachelorette parties start at $225 per person. Fuel is included in every charter.

Your price depends on three things:

  • The boat you choose.
  • How long you stay out: 3 to 4 hours, 6 to 8 hours, sunset or overnight on select yachts.
  • Add-ons like catering, extra Seabobs for $500 or fishing gear.

Ask about weekday discounts. A weekday event can stretch your budget further. Gift cards are also available.
