Top 3 Wine Tasting Tours for Hamptons Bachelorette Parties

Discover the best wine-tasting tours to book for your Hamptons bachelorette weekend.

Toasting the bride. Flights of rosé. Photos in the vines.

There’s a reason why wine tastings and vineyard tours are some of the most popular things to do during a festive girls' weekend or bachelorette party. If you’re looking for Hamptons bachelorette party ideas, look no further. The Hamptons is home to some of the best and most beautiful wineries on Long Island — and we’ve got all the tour deets for you.

Here’s Yacht Hampton’s official guide to the top wineries to tour and visit during your Hamptons bachelorette weekend. Whether you just pick one or hit them all in the same afternoon, you’re sure to have an unforgettable time doing tours, tasting new blends, and taking in the scenery.

Have a taste for red, white, or rosé wine? Here are three wine-tasting tour destinations to add to your bachelorette weekend itinerary.

Top three tours and wine tastings:

1. Wölffer Estate Vineyard

Wolffer Estate Vineyard - Best Wine Tasting

Sagaponack

While you may be familiar with their viral “Summer in a Bottle” rosé, you may not realize that Wölffer has a stunning estate and vineyard open for tours right in Sagaponack. The tasting room at Wölffer Estate is open year-round, seven days a week. It features rustic-modern decor, and it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and Hamptons landscape. Sit inside the wine-tasting room or outside on the patio as you enjoy their wine by the glass, bottle, or flight. Plus, sip wine as you snack on small bites and aesthetic cheese and charcuterie boards for lunch. With your wine in hand, you may start to feel like you've been transported to Napa or Sonoma. But wine country or not, Wölffer is a can't-miss Hamptons wine-tasting and tour destination.

Though walk-ins are welcome at Wölffer, reservations are highly recommended – and occasionally the Estate may be closed for a private event or high-profile tours. Review the available dates to make a reservation at Wölffer for your group of eight or less up to two weeks in advance, and make the most of your day with tours and wine tasting on the vineyard. Take photos in the vines after your tasting, and pick up a few bottles of wine on your way out to enjoy at home. The tour may be over, but you can still enjoy the wine.

Another little-known secret: Wölffer’s Wine Stand Boutique. Situated right on Montauk Highway, get a taste of the winery tour experience without having to plan ahead. The charming Wölffer Estate Wine Stand is a casual, laid-back outpost where you can sip signature Wölffer wines and ciders while you watch the sunset on the vineyard. Plus, it’s a popular post-beach pitstop for purchasing wine bottles to go. Create your own tour of their luscious lawns, and enjoy.

2. Duck Walk Vineyards

Water Mill

This family-owned winery and vineyard is a well-known name on the North Fork, but they also have a Southampton location with wine tours and tasting experiences. Open seven days a week, visitors can enjoy wine by the glass, bottle, or signature wine tastings for $16 per person. It's relatively affordable when it comes to wine tours, so you may even want to select a couple of tastings. One tasting includes a sampling of any four wines — white, red, dessert, and beyond. Light snacks are available for purchase, and you can also feel free to bring your own light bites.

Duck Walk requires reservations for groups of six or more, but the reservations don’t include seating or traditional tours. The outdoor seating at this laid-back winery is first-come, first served. It's one of the most chill wineries and tour experiences you can find in the Hamptons, and that's part of its charm. The patio at Duck Walk is lined with picnic tables and full of people sitting on blankets on the grass. Pets are welcome, and there’s live music on the weekends in the warmer weather. It’s casual, fun, and you’ll get tastes of wine blends from one of the most popular names in Long Island wine.

3. Channing Daughters

Bridgehampton

Situated on twenty-eight acres in Bridgehampton, Channing Daughters is one of our favorite places for winery tours. Channing Daughters creates wines from more than two dozen grape varieties — about half of which are sourced from special sites and people on the North Fork.

The charming winery includes both a retail shop and tasting experience that are open daily at 11 am. They offer seated tastings for groups of up to six guests from November through May, and up to eight guests from June through October. They take reservations up to two weeks in advance, as well as walk-ins on a first-come first-served basis — though in the summer months, it’s always best to book ahead. Plus, feel free to ask about any available tours when you inquire about a table.

Opt for a themed flight or taste wine by the glass, and choose a few picnic-style snacks to enjoy with your wine. The wine-tasting and wine tour experience differs depending on your group size and whether you’d like to be standing or seated, so be sure to ask about their different wine-tasting options for anything from private tours to larger group tour experiences. Regardless of the occasion, you’ll love exploring their unique blends in a beautiful setting.

When it comes to planning your bachelorette party wine tasting and tour, you truly can’t go wrong. Arrange all your travel and hotel plans first, and then take the train from the city or arrange alternate transportation for your trip to the wineries. In case of any travel hiccups, just be sure to check whether your tour reservation offers free cancellation. Once you get there, toast and post the day away at any of these locations — and celebrate the bride-to-be while the whole group tours the Hamptons and lives the good life. If group size is an issue, book multiple tables or tours at any of these wineries — and rest assured there are non-alcoholic options for any non-drinkers in your party. It may not be Napa, but the beautiful vines and Hamptons landscapes will be the perfect backdrop for your bach bash.
