A well-hidden gem, Estia’s Little Kitchen sits in a cozy wooden cabin on the outskirts of Sag Harbor. This local brunch spot serves fairly priced, locally grown, and sourced dishes that are genuinely delicious. Estia’s has been around for decades — and there’s still always a line out the door. Head over before noon for their famous pancakes, and enjoy the rest of their brunch creations until 3 pm. Taste the breakfast burritos and tacos, and try brunch platters ranging from breakfast nachos and huevos rancheros to shredded beef hash. Trust us: you can’t go wrong with any options at Estia’s.

Sagaponack

Three words: breakfast all day. This restaurant is situated right on the green at Sagaponack’s Poxabogue Golf Center — and it’s one of our favorite breakfast spots in the Hamptons. Their menu is organized by the Front Nine (breakfast) and the Back Nine (lunch), and they serve both menu options all day. Fairway is open bright and early at 7 am, and the cafe’s interior features charming golf-themed decor. Swing by for a satisfying, no-frills meal, and admire the surrounding greenery while you’re at it.

Southampton, Sag Harbor, Wainscott, East Hampton, Montauk

Scattered all along the Hamptons and dotted throughout the rest of the South and North Forks, Goldberg’s Famous Bagel is a go-to, can’t-miss destination for authentic New York bagels. Grab a dozen fresh bagels and a container of cream cheese to-go, and bring them back for the ultimate at-home brunch spread. Of course, you can always get your favorite breakfast sandwich made there to enjoy outside or on the beach.

Montauk

Who doesn’t love a good pancake house? Situated right on Montauk Highway, John’s Pancake House is chill, inviting, and boasts a full pancake menu offering everything from silver dollars to potato pancakes — and a ton in between. The rest of their breakfast menu features classic diner fare: eggs, sandwiches, burgers, and more. Stop by between 6 am and 2 pm any day of the week, and enjoy a tasty brunch that’s sure to hit the spot.

Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton

Golden-Pear-dining-hamptons

The last of our casual recs, Golden Pear Cafe is a long-time Hamptons staple. With locations spread throughout three different towns, it’s a reliable brunch destination to eat in or carry out. Opt for an omelet, sandwich, or avocado toast, and choose from their delicious menu of fresh-baked goods and various coffee blends. While it won’t be the fanciest brunch you have during your time in the Hamptons, the food definitely does not disappoint — and it’s a cute restaurant to sit and people-watch.

Festive:

If you're looking for a vibrant and festive brunch experience in the Hamptons, the restaurants here have an enticing menu that will leave you craving for more. Brunch in this lively destination is a celebration of flavors and culinary creativity. From endless brunch cocktails to indulgent brunch specials, you'll find a wide array of food and drink options that cater to your taste buds. Whether you prefer a trendy hotspot with a lively atmosphere or an elegant establishment with live music, the Hamptons has the perfect brunch scene to elevate your weekend. Get ready to immerse yourself in the festive ambiance and savor the delectable brunch offerings that this destination has to offer.

Bridgehampton

Ah, Pierre’s. This charming French bistro sits right on Bridgehampton’s picturesque Main Street, with ample outdoor seating and a bakery and market up front. Pierre’s is elegant and chic yet still casual, catering to Hamptons locals as well as visitors from NYC and Europe alike. It’s open for breakfast, brunch (or lunch), and dinner, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Stop by for brunch and enjoy their fresh-made smoothies and juices, and of course, all the French classics: coupe parfait, soupe à l'oignon gratinée, escargots, tarte flambée. Opt for a light niçoise, or choose an omelet from their extensive egg menu. Whether it’s a sunny Saturday afternoon or a lazy Sunday morning, brunch at Pierre’s will be a lovely addition.

Undeniably elegant, this Jean-Georges establishment serves up seasonal farm-to-table fare made from locally sourced ingredients. Open year-round for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, head over for your next special occasion or simply enjoy an elevated meal. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 3 pm, and offers a range of inspired dishes. Start with the caviar, black truffle pizza, and a warm shrimp salad, and then savor entrees from the eggs benedict to the brie cheeseburger. With its beautiful setting and thoughtful menu, Topping Rose is sure to impress any brunch fanatic.

Bridgehampton

First and foremost a bakery, we’d recommend Armin and Judy for the bread alone. Their bakers arrive just before midnight, baking everything from brioche to baguettes for the 8 am retail presentation. This cozy restaurant cafe’s “Daylight Menu'' is served from 9 am to 1:45 pm, and includes everything from eggs and french toast to a perfectly caramelized “grapefruit brûlée.” Try the croque madame, classic benedict, or fried chicken sandwich — you really can’t go wrong. Sit in the dining room, sunroom, or out on the patio, and enjoy a brunch that satisfies every craving – even the ones you didn’t know you had.

Amagansett

Owned by the winery you know and love and situated in the charming Amagansett Square, Christian's By Wölffer is the first winery-owned restaurant on the East End. With its charming patio, bohemian decor, and seasonal menu, this restaurant is an instant hit. It draws from multiple cuisines for a worldly and creative feel, and it offers plenty of plant-based options for vegans and vegetarians. Brunch is served at Christian's every Saturday, and it features a refreshing mix of options: tapas, local eggs, salads, bowls, sandwiches, and sides. Start with Peconic oysters and avocado toast, and then move on to the Long Island duck hash or spiced apple french toast. Order the grilled tuna or prosciutto melon, and indulge in pulled pork grilled cheese. Whatever you’re feeling, you’ll be able to find something intriguing and delicious for brunch at Christian's By Wölffer.

Sag Harbor

Located in a historic Sag Harbor hotel, visiting the American Hotel Restaurant feels like traveling back in time. Stop in for breakfast on Saturdays or Sundays from 8 am to 10:45 am, or lunch any day from 11:30 am to 4 pm — both serving lobster BLTs, eggs benedict, and brioche french toast for your brunch fix. Their outdoor dining deck is unbelievably charming, reminiscent of an old movie set. Sit, sip, and people-watch all afternoon, and enjoy the hotel’s inventive “American-French” brunch cuisine while you’re at it.

Sag Harbor

large

Whether it’s a birthday, a business meeting, or anything in between, sometimes you just need an upscale brunch. With its loyal clientele and attire guidelines (“Dress to Impress”), this restaurant values elegance in every form. Situated on the Sag Harbor marina, the Hamptons’ Le Bilboquet is considered the summer home of Manhattan’s Upper East Side location. Take in the waterfront view while sipping a creative brunch cocktail, and enjoy their signature le poulet cajun. Try avocado toast topped with smoked salmon, eggs benedict sprinkled with Osetra caviar, and a lobster roll served with homemade chips — Le Bilboquet takes everything on their menu just one notch above. Visit to celebrate your next big event, or simply enjoy a beautiful brunch on the water.

From Fairway to Wölffer, you have a plethora of food options to choose from when it comes to brunch in the Hamptons. Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely breakfast overlooking the greens or a chic vineyard setting with a mouthwatering brunch menu, the Hamptons are home to restaurants that have it all.
